Safety Patrol
Rain or shine, you can find our Aldridge Safety Patrol at the curb with a friendly smile and a helping hand. Their primary mission is to support our families during the busiest times of the day—arrival and dismissal. From opening car doors to ensuring students stay safely on the sidewalk, these student volunteers are trained to provide a helping hand to our youngest learners and a watchful eye for our entire community. We are proud of the dedication they show in keeping our 'loading zones' safe for everyone!
Student Council
The Aldridge Elementary Student Council is committed to developing servant leaders who make a positive difference in our school and community. Through service projects, school initiatives, and opportunities to lead by example, our students learn the importance of responsibility, empathy, and teamwork. Student Council members focus on being community-centered, working together to support school-wide events, give back through service drives, and promote a positive school climate for all Ocelots.
Aligned with the principles of the America Student Council Association (ASCA), the Aldridge Student Council also supports students social-emotional growth, leadership development, and character building. By encouraging student voice, collaboration, and service, student council helps students build the skills needed to become confident leaders both in school and in the community.
Tech Crew
Lights, camera, action! The Aldridge Technology Crew is the heartbeat of our campus communication. Each morning, our student-led media team produces and streams a live, news-style broadcast to keep our school informed and inspired. This program is designed for students with a passion for the spotlight—as news, weather, or sports anchors—and those who want to master the magic behind the scenes as directors, camera operators, and sound engineers. By joining the Tech Crew, students gain hands-on experience in a live broadcasting environment, building the essential A/V skills needed for our tech-driven world.
Roles Available on the Crew:
On-Air Talent: Anchors, Weather, Sports Analysts, and Words of Encouragement
Production Team: Directors who oversee the show’s flow.
Technical Crew: Camera Operators, Sound Engineers, and Graphics Specialists.
